Bowen Therapy

Bowen Therapy is a very gentle form of bodywork.

It is neither a traditional massage nor comparable to osteopathic or chiropractic adjustments. Bowen Therapy involves a series of "moves" – specific holds and sequences that have a very pleasant and relaxing effect.

This helps the body return to balance by activating its natural self-regulation resources. There are pauses called "healing spaces" between sequences, allowing the effect to penetrate more deeply. Clients experience deep relaxation during and after the treatment.

Bowen Therapy applies targeted stimuli to the fascia, muscles, tendons, and ligaments. This method also positively influences the autonomic nervous system. The application points are very precise and often correspond to meridians and acupuncture points.
