Feelings like fear, helplessness, anger or despair are common companions, as are social tensions, everyday uncertainty and the feeling of having been catapulted out of one&#8217;s own life. Psycho-oncological counseling offers a protected space to address precisely these topics openly and respectfully.  <\/p><p>It is intended for people with cancer as well as loved ones, who are often equally burdened. The focus is not just on conversation, but on the shared search for support, clarity and inner strength. The counseling helps to regain emotional balance, activate personal resources and develop new perspectives \u2013 regardless of the stage of the illness.  <\/p><p>Psycho-oncological couseling can be helpful in every phase: directly after diagnosis, during treatment, in aftercare or in palliative situations. It offers space for fears, but also for hope. For powerlessness, but also for new strength. Methods from talk therapy, mindfulness-based approaches or systemic counseling are integrated into the support as needed \u2013 individually tailored to the respective life situation.   <\/p><p>The goal is not only to provide short-term relief, but also to strengthen the self-confidence and self-efficacy of those affected in the long term. Those who feel emotionally seen and supported can often better accept their illness, make informed decisions and dedicate themselves to their healing path with greater strength. <\/p><p>Psycho-oncological counseling is not therapy in the classical sense \u2013 it is support, a pillar and guidance.
